A quick definition.Appends is a data processing service which helps expand your marketing campaigns by adding real email addresses and/or phone numbers to customer records that are missing this information.
I don't know the service who makes this job better then ManageByStats.

Getting Amazon buyers' email - is it legit?

Amazon’s Terms Of Service. The big question. In the 3 years we’ve been doing this, we have not heard of one single incident. And maybe that’s because:
What Amazon doesn't want is attempts at promotions to drive customers to go outside of their platform, using their email service. They actually don’t specifically say in the TOS that you can’t send emails to a list of your customers that you have, outside of their platform.
We don’t use any of the Amazon customer info for the email appends and we could literally email append out of the phone book if we wanted to. No proprietary Amazon info is being used whatsoever. We only use the first and last name, and the physical address.
Most customers use the emails to create custom audiences on Facebook, because with the email you get a much better match rate - upwards of 90%. And that advertising drives traffic to Amazon listings, therefore helping Amazon as well.
With all this said, even if we have never heard of any issues, we are all playing in Amazon’s sandbox, so be cognizant of that.However, they warn to exercise caution and use the service "at your own discretion".
Note, there’s also another aspect to the email appends and that is some people use it as an insurance policy, to at least HAVE a list in case something happens. Otherwise, without using the email appends, you wouldn’t have an email list at all.
